James Muir, former guest and author of one of the best sales books you'll ever read, The Perfect Close. The perfect close comes down to a couple of questions. The first question is, "I think this next step makes sense. Does it make sense for you to move forward with that?" If yes, then boom, you're good, consider that advance closed. If not, then the follow up question is, "What makes sense to you?"
It's such a simple way to move the sales process forward. The key is understanding what that next step is. Here's the problem. It's only simple if you know what that next step is. Jeff discusses what some of those next steps could be, should be in this week's Musing.
